On a recent trip to Switzerland, we were lucky to stop by the very beautiful Interlaken (lovely town in Switzerland) for a few hours. While my kids devoured loads of ice-cream I decided to walk around the shopping district to understand the Swiss sense of fashion.
I stumbled across this lovely toy store Albert Schild which retails the very popular Swiss toys. The toy store which such cute wooden toys is a sight to behold. It almost makes me want to feel like a child again. The store stocks some of very cool Swiss toy brands which makes high-quality toys for little ones.
Since my son is into puzzles, we decided to pick up a puzzle for him, which would remind him of our family travels. I picked up the My Puzzle Schweiz designed by Helvetiq. The puzzle is ideal for 5-6 year olds who are learning how to put different pieces together. These puzzles help children build visual reasoning, spacial awareness, short term memory and logic.
This lovely toy store has many other things worth checking out. I also loved all the vintage posters of the Swiss countryside. The cow wooden animals with bells is also a great souvenir to bring back home. They also have some lovely wooden toys – cars and figurines.
You can spend an entire hour at the store exploring all their lovely toys, games and souvenirs.
Can’t wait to try this puzzle with my little one.
