We often take the beauty products we use for granted. Some of them are laden with chemicals which are very harsh on the skin.
I am a big fan of Ashley & Co’s bath range which has some excellent products that are kind to the skin. I love how they have chosen such fine ingredients to whip up their products.
Ashley and Co is a New Zealand based company that began a decade ago in a garage. Founder Jackie Ashely decided to experiment with different concoctions and scents, leading to the development of the brand. The very sophisticated branding and packaging was crafted by her spouse Ben.
The brand is doing its bit for the environment, and its packaging is eco-friendly. The bottles can be re-used and it also sells refill pouches for its products. Many of their bottles are also made from recycled content.
I love their handwashes. Some of my favorites from the collection include Blossom & Gilt, which contains costa rican tuberose, wild jasmine, ylang ylang, white tobacco and lime. I also love the Bubbles and Polkadots, which is made with skin-friendly ingredients like rose otto, powdery musk, resinous amber, bergamot and chamomile. Their handwashes do not dry the skin and leave it feeling smooth. Their products are free from sulphates, parabens, mineral oils, colourings and synthetic fragrance.
While the Singapore store only has a limited range, the New Zealand site has an extensive range to choose from. Their home diffusers look great. I also love their very sleek perfume candles which come in lovely jars. Their Kiwi site also has this really cool multi-task skin conditioner, creatively packaged like a cracker.
Of course their hand washes and body washes are their most popular products, all of which come in lovely gift packaging.
Ashley and Co will definitely leave your skin feeling happy.
