Baby Carrier: MeLuvKush

May 3, 2014 By: Preeti Khichacomment

Babies are precious. When our little baby arrived a few months ago, I was slow in wanting to share her with everyone. For the first two months, we were cocooned in our own sweet world, keeping her away from visitors, squeezing chubby cheeks and planting kisses.

However, there’s only so much you can do to shelter your baby. That is why I found the ‘Godee’, made by New York based label MeLuvKush super useful. These snuggle bags, serve well in holding a newborn, and can double up as a sleeping bag at night.

Godee is somewhat like a baby carrier, which envelops a baby in comfy cotton fabrics. These soft bags are meant to support the baby, while holding or caressing him/her.

Functionality aside, the soothing colour palette works well for babies. And being a huge fan of block print, I love the elephant and peacock motifs.

Here’s how it works: ” The Godee secures the baby within its pouch with a zipper along the front flap and a ribbon that ties and cinches at the opening for added protection. To replicate a womb like shape, a hooded element was designed allowing the baby’s head to rest on a flat cushion”

A must have on your baby registry.

If you wish to win a Godee, enter our giveaway. Just tell us your favourite Godee colour via email, or like their Facebook page. One lucky winner will win this soft snuggle bag! Check out the four colours on their website
