Newborn clothing is oh-so-adorable. As a baby, I loved dressing up Saira in her cute little onesies and often looked for reasons to change her during the day. Now here’s a company I wish I had spotted a few years ago.
Check out Babyholic, Singapore which started out last year by two working mums in the design industry. I fell in love with their clothing gift bundles for little ones. Touch their fabric and you will know why. Made from the softest cotton blends and high quality wool, the products are great for baby skin. With a keen eye for design, founders, Mary and Lavonne handpicked brands from overseas, to put together each gift bundle. Both Mary and Lavonne are full-time working mums who started Babyholic as a side-venture.
Besides baby clothing, the duo also make wooden blocks for little ones. I was excited to receive custom-made blocks for Saira. She totally loved putting them together to spell her name. It is lovely to come across small businesses that are consciously taking the effort towards making non-toxic products for kids. The blocks are painted using natural chalk and mineral paint, and add a lovely personalized touch to her room.
Definitely worth checking out, mamas!
