Both me and my husband are coffee lovers. We are always on the hunt for good beans for our coffee.
Bacha Coffee is a coffee company founded in Marrakech, Morocco, which retails some delicious coffee beans. The retail store at Ion Orchard has a cosy café, where coffee aficionados can spend hours musing over coffee. You can smell the wonderful aroma of coffee beans from outside the store.
The design of the palace reflects the design of the Dar el Bacha palace in Morocco. The walls are decorated in bright hues of orange and indigo and black and white marble floors and brass chandeliers.
The coffee beans are stored in beautiful tins, and they allow you to smell the beans before you decide which one to buy.

Some of my favourites from the menu is the Black Pearl Coffee, a single origin bean from Kenya. Kenyan pearl beans are a specialty and the coffee beans produce a cup with a delightful taste. Another favourite of mine is the Blue Mountain Mist coffee which makes a marvellously sweet cup with a slightly fruity flavour.
Bacha Coffee beans are sourced from 35 of the most reputed coffee producing countries. The coffee beans are roasted at low temperatures in drum roasters, using traditional slow methods. Since every bean requires a different degree of roasting, harvests are hand-roasted to ensure quality. You can find different kinds of beans here – from single origin, fine-blended, fine flavoured to decaffeinated varieties.
If you are looking for a dine-in experience, check out the vanilla-bean flavoured Chantilly cream and a raw sugar stick. They also have lovely croissants filled with flavours like coffee chocolate, which are great accompaniments to your coffee.
Bacha Coffee has its stores in four countries – Morocco, Singapore, France and Malaysia.
