We went on our first ski vacation last year. It was my first experience with buying ski clothing. Helly Hansen is one such ski brand which makes functional ski clothing for skiiers.
Helly Hansen is a Norwegian manufacturer and retailer of clothing and sports equipment and a subsidiary of the Canadian retail chain Canadian Tire. The brand is currently headquartered in Oslo.
The brand is a one-stop shop for all things ski – from base layers, mid layers, boots, accessories and lots more.
They have a variety of ski shell jackets which can be worn over the base and mid layers. The jacket is waterproof but also incorporates two-way stretch for unrestricted movement. The jacket has a high collar, chin guard and tail drop to ensure weather proofing during changing conditions.
Also check out their Daybreaker fleece jacket with good insulation solutions. The jackets are super comfortable and available in a range of colours to match your overall ski look.
They also have a range of boots to wear in the snow. I personally liked the Isabella boot which provides cozy insulation, great traction and a luxurious satin finish. The rubber sole has a tough grip to give you excellent traction on slippery surfaces.
The brand also retails parkas – a type of coat with a hood, often lined with fur or faux fur. They also stock down jackets, shell jackets, hiking jackets, rain jackets, and more.
They have well-designed neck gaiters, beanies, headbands, and lots more.
Oh my their kids range is super adorable!! I love their winter jackets, reversible jackets and other ski gear.
I totally recommend Helly Hansen’s elegant range of ski and outdoor clothing.
