Raise your hand if you are an adult who loves plushies?
I love when my kids buy plushies. It reminds me of my childhood days where I would stack up all my stuffed toys against my bedroom window. We also had a tradition where my sister and me would name all our stuffed animals, making it a part of our family.
The love for stuffed toys in our family goes beyond imaginative play. My son has taken a recent fancy to taking his plushies to school, and it seems like only the lucky ones can make it. My tween daughter loves packing her plushie keychains, and other little stuffed toys into her backpack to play with at school.
While there is hardly any stuffed toy brand that I do not like, Jellycat is a popular one that is known for their iconic bunny rabbits. The Jellycat bunnies, available in a host of colours, is popular with little ones for their floppy ears and cute button eyes.

Jellycat is a British stuffed toy company known for its plush toys and collectibles. Founded by brothers Thomas and William Gatacre in London, the company expanded into Minneapolis in 2001, forming Jellycat Inc. The company sells stuffed toys, books, nursery items and bags and other accessories.
Do you know how the Jellycat name came along? Funnily, it was dreamt up by a child who loves jellies and cats, and the name stuck.
Today the brand makes some lovely plushies in some very unique designs. Besides their bunnies, I also love their fruit plushies. Since my son was a huge fan of watermelon during his toddler days, the watermelon plushie found its way into our household.
They also have some unique stuffed toys for Christmas – the Wee reindeer, Wee penguin and Sammy snowman plushies are all so adorable. The Amuseable collection is also so sweet – the very amuseable Doughnut, Avocado and Rainbow birthday cake, with their smiling faces bring in so much happiness to our children’s lives.
Browsing through their collection reminds me of how beautifully innocent childhood days are.
