At age three, Kabir went through a phase where he enjoyed puzzling. He sat for hours trying to figure out unique types of puzzles. It accompanied him at all his meal times, and it was a good distraction for him while he was having his meals.
His favorite puzzle of all times was the Mud Puppy jigsaw puzzles. Given his love for animals, dogs and cats, he would spend hours trying to figure out how the pieces fit.
Mud Puppy is part of the Galison Publishing Company based in New York City. The company started out designing paper products for museums. With the successful publication of assorted calendars and books, the company decided to print fine-art stationery, notecards, and greeting cards. Over time, the company developed a set of puzzles, games, gifts, stationery and desk accessories.
Mud Puppy has a wonderful collection of puzzles.
I love their scratch and sniff puzzle where the puzzles smell of delightful flavors like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. They have super cute themes for little girls too like the mermaid cove and unicorn sprinkles.
You can choose from a myriad of themes, depending on your little one’s interest. Some fun themes include cats and dogs, geography and travel, planets and space, nature and lots more.
I particularly like their double-sided puzzles, as they double up as two puzzles in one.
Besides the puzzles, the company also makes some cool games to keep little minds busy.
While we haven’t tried them yet, it might be a good option to order a few.
