My daughter is suddenly into nailpolish! While I am always worried about preserving her delicate nails, I have given into a lot more nail painting in the last couple of months.
At the Boutiques Fair in Singapore, Saira stumbled across this place called Laquer Land which allows you to make your own nail polish. Now that is totally fun!
Laquer Land is the experiential arm of Nail Deck where you can come make your own nail polishes. It is a really popular activity for kids and mums alike. The nail colors that come out of the experience is totally wonderful. Kids have such wonderfully creative minds and I loved how my daughter and her friend, crafted such lovely colors that you would never find off the retail shelf. Glitter was a big hit at the nail paint station, and I loved a shade that was made with a hodge podge of glitter.
If you are looking for standard colours, you might want to view their nail paint portfolio which has such unique colours.
Some of the colours that I particularly like is Spell it Out, Hit the Sack, Snowbody’s Home and Pink Marshmallow.
The brand was founded by Daryl Chew in 2011. Chew started out importing nail polish from different brands, but later moved onto creating his own product which is vegan and non-toxic.
If you are looking for nail paint for kids, I recommend the Aquajellie collection which is clean, odourless and peelable. These dry quickly by air and do not need an LED lamp. While these are totally peelable, I recommend removing them with nail polish.
These nail paints are available at $18 a bottle.
