Many years ago, when my daughter started walking, I started scouting for shoes that were not just cute, but also give stability to her feet while walking. I came across this brand Pediped that makes super comfy shoes for kids, especially pre-walkers and new walkers.
Pediped is a US brand that was founded by husband and wife duo Angela and Brian Edgeworth in 2005. After their first daughter Caroline was born, Angela started hunting for footwear that was comfortable and stylish and could be worn both indoors and outdoors. There was a gap in the market for soft-leather sole shoes for infants and toddlers. This led to many hours of research, after which Pediped was born.
The brand stocks more than 120 shoe designs and offers three footwear lines – Originals (soft-soled shoes for children ages birth to 2), Grip n Go (soft rubber soled shoes for children ages 9 months to 3 years and Flex (rubber-soled shoes for children 1-9 years).
I love their soft soles for little ones. I remember buying a pair for my daughter when the design options were limited. They have a wider collection today in super fun colours – reminding how joyful childhood days are.
They also sell shoes for older kids for 5 to 10 years old. I love their high top shoes for kids. Check out the black plaid ones for boys and the pink velvet high tops for girls.
