Priddy Books: Fun book titles

April 28, 2017 By: Preeti Khichacomment

Recently, Pansing Books sent me some Priddy titles to review, and I was excited to enjoy it with my little girl. We browsed through the titles together. From enjoying colourful picture books and lift-the-flap books as a baby, her world now revolves around fairytales and sticker books.

Here is our take on the Priddy titles we received.

Alphaprints: Sweet Heart (touch and feel):

This board book is ideal for toddlers, who are attracted to bright colours. My little pre-schooler enjoyed it too. She loved placing her hands over the textured areas in each page – the woolly teddybear, furry dog and felt shoe. The book is a refreshing change from the standard first-word books. I love how it uses simple storytelling to teach kids colour, fruits, animals and objects. The ‘tweet tweet’ title is fun too. Their whimsical illustrations – sheep made from cauliflower, chicks made from lemons and an orange nose for the bunny rabbit, is sure to put a smile on your little one’s face. A wonderful addition to a baby/toddler’s library.

Check out their vocabulary builder titles too.

Treasure Hunt (On the Farm) and Treasure Hunt (Around the Town)

I love how these books open up to create a large canvas for young readers. Children are encouraged to spot different images in the book, helping build early vocabulary skills. The perfect books for travel, as they have so much information packed in one.

Moving on to sticker books. My daughter has been addicted to sticker books for a while now. From dressing up Peppa Pig to celebrating Ben & Holly’s Elf and Fairy party, she can go through an entire sticker book in a few hours.

The Sticker Friends: Bunny and Bear book we received was a big hit. She enjoyed adorning her easter eggs, decorating bunny’s burrow, and dressing up her bunny in cool sunglasses and fashionable gear. Kids have a vivid imagination, and you can weave a beautiful story as you work on the sticker book together. There are other titles in the series too: Farm, Chick, Kitten and Puppy which are worth checking out too.

Each page is wonderfully illustrated with scenes that kid love – from picnic time, fun fairs, snow fun and camping.

Do you have any sticker books to recommend the next time we visit a bookstore?
