As girls grow up, playdates get more creative. While slime was a big hit in our household for some time, off late my daughter also loves making lip-balms, scrubs, and all things beauty.
For my daughter’s 10th birthday, she received this spa activity box from a friend, which I fell in love with. Designed by French brand Sentosphere, this is a cool craft box for little girls who want to experiment.
Sentosphere is a French brand, founded by Veronique Debroise. Debroise used to be a perfume maker who believed that a good sense of smell is essential to a child’s development. She developed kits and educational games centered around the sense of taste, sight and touch. Sentosphere’s creative studio is located in Paris (France). Their factories are in Saint Arnoult-en-Yvelines (France) and Romans-sur-Isere (France), where all their lovely products are designed.
The quality of Sentosphere products is fabulous. In the spa box, you can prepare fun bath products like bath salts, bath bombs and the like. The colors provided are bold and the scents are delicate, making it totally attractive for kids.
The activity is very well-suited for 10-year-old girls who love to read and follow instructions. I watched how my daughter patiently sat with her friend to make her own bath products.
Besides the Spa Lab, the company makes some other unique products for girls. I like the Gloss Party, a gift every girl will die for. This box allows little girls to concoct their own lip sticks, glosses and lip balms in different shades of pink.
Some of the other products that I am eyeing right now include – Savons and Senteurs, where kids can make lovely soap bars. Their glitter art kits are also great for kids who want to improve their fine motor skills. You can also opt for jewelry boxes which kids can decorate with little diamonds.
